CoopeCoronado celebrated the fifth year of the World’s Milk day, which was promoted to help carry out a solidarity community faire for the town of Vásquez de Coronado of San José.
The Company gave away 6000 milk cartons to the following social organizations that attends to socially disadvantaged groups: Cen-Cinai, which helps poor children; Vista del Mar orphanage; Mother Teresa of Calcutta Senior Home and Paths of Hope Christian group that helps families with very low income.
CoopeCoronado gave part of the donations to a special program for low-income families, which is lead by the local Catholic Church; and also gave the Municipality the first phase of the canton’s new street signs.
Both children and adults were able to enjoy all of the Company’s different dairy products through special promotional offers at unbeatable prices.
After all the official acts were over, the people of Coronado were able to enjoy several martial arts exhibitions, as well as a small parade, with several dance and acrobatic groups, story-telling, and circus like shows, that were all focused toward the importance of milk for our health.
